also while on the topic of wanting to live. this is why I don't believe in avatar Tim or him surviving the Unknowing at all. he very explicitly doesn't want to live! and Jon wants to, he makes the choice to wake up
SO UNBELIEVABLY REAL abt desolation avatar tim. People heard explosion and thought "big fire = desolation!!" NO!! I HATE that fans assigned one representative element to each fear despite it going against what the podcast told, and THEY CANT LET GO OF THEM!!!! (And if he were to be an avatar for real i would say the hunt. With the whole thing of him searching for his brother while possibly knowing that hes long dead. This whole fruitless endeavor to avenge him yknow)
literally! the whole point is that Smirke's classification is flawed and Jonah's ritual succeeds because he doesn't separate the Fears. and like. Desolation is very sadistic in ways Tim isn't? yes he is very angry at Jon but that's not the same as ruining someone's life and enjoying it. Hunt Tim is so clever! I was thinking more Stranger!Tim but I am also a believer that to be an avatar you need to want that fear at least a little bit so Hunt!Tim makes so much sense. maybe he even gets inspiration from Daisy without realising what's happening :3
